DEAD OR ALIVE 6 V1.20 CODEX
DEAD OR ALIVE 6 V1.20 CODEX
During the course of the game, the Dead or Alive series has seen three differing gameplay modes. They are Classic mode (the arcade game), True Adornment mode (Playstation 2, Xbox and PC, in which all the characters are dressed in their best fashion), and Ultimate Mode (Playstation 3 and Wii U, in which the characters are displayed in a manga style).
The Dead or Alive series has introduced a large number of characters in its long history, many of them inspired by the series’ extensive history as an erotic video game series. The DOA universe has been seen with female ninjas from China, Japan, and the United States. Each character typically has a unique arsenal of fighting styles and weapons, and some have alternative versions for each gender of the same name. The games usually have a tournament style focused on martial arts or other combat fighting, and characters are rated on their “Perfect” to “Nine Lives” ranking. Players are also able to unlock costumes and modifications, and can earn the characters’ affections, which often have sex appeal. The games are best enjoyed in either True Adornment or Ultimate Mode.
The series has spawned a number of novel series, manga adaptations and limited edition figures. DOA5 was released in Japan in 2015 for Playstation 3. It was also released in English by XSEED.[ Amazon-US[/a>-UK] [ Amazon-DE[/a>]

In the original arcade game, Diana and Terry are the protagonists and they both fight in a tournament to prove who is the best fighter. The arcade title was immensely popular and widely known but a few years later the series was transformed into a video game. Series Director Koichi Sugiyama has composed the game’s music. The Story
“The one who defeats the top fighter wins the DOA World Tournament. Terry is the new world number one fighter, but she is somewhat inactive. She’s been training ever since her fight with Ayane, but somehow she hasn’t been able to beat her up until now. I guess she has realized that the window of opportunity is closing fast. Diana, on the other hand, is also planning something. She’s sure that Ayane is the best fighter in the universe, and she’s determined to prove it to her. However, Diana’s sadistic nature means that she’s unable to just walk over Terry and say “Hello, I am the best fighter”.
Now that weve covered the gods, lets get into the fluff. FLUFF For the new codex, the god descriptions have been overhauled as well as the codex rules themselves. But for the players, its really just been a refocus on what the SELF fluff has always been. The Fluff has always been focused on the player and their overall experience. That is what this a big change, and is what the rules should reflect as well. PLANESHITTERS Theres been a lot of attention given to the planeshooters in the new codex. Theyre all more viable at certain times, and theyre now just better. But its still the case that the only way to really get a planeshooter on the board is deep striking, and its still only a 1/1 charge affair. Whereas in the old codex they were always going to be the second fastest thing in the game, now they play in tandem with Baal’s Vengeance. This has always been a very strong ability for Baal, and has been a bit underused. Baal is now a far more powerful general than before, and can be used to either put his planeshooters into the enemy board as a whole, or he can use Baal’s Vengeance to put one in and keep him alive. Baal will also be able to target and place Crisis Markers on other people at the start of each turn. This can be very powerful. SOURCING Theres a lot of interesting changes to the LoS rules that allows for a wider variety of scenarios for getting models into conflicts. Units can now pass csm through other units when theyre charging, although they must be visible, and assaulting units can do the same. Also there is now a FOCUSED or PEERING condition (the exact same wording) which lets you group model units. The rules have been rewritten to make this more optional, and the rules are now very specific on when you can or cannot group models together.
