Persia is an ancient and rich country. This Screensaver will shed some light on this ancient culture. What will you discover?
1) You will see ancient bridges across the Persian plateau (see pictures 1-4). These bridges were built long ago under Cyrus the Great and in some cases were destroyed in the 1850-1860’s by the English.
2) You will see the ancient city of Persepolis, the former capital of Persia (see pictures 5-10). Persepolis was built in the 5th Century BC. There you will see a large wall, which is situated on the city wall.
3) There are historical sites in Iran, which are located near Tehran, a capital of Iran. Some of these sites you will see (see pictures 11-18).
4) There are more historical sites in Iran, which are located near Shiraz (see pictures 19-22).
5) You will see many Persian and Islamic sites that are located in Shiraz, Fars province. The most interesting is the mausoleum of Ali ibn Abi Taleb (see picture 23).
